Owners and guests staying at The Roundhouse Resort enjoy outstanding athletic facilities. These include the indoor Recreation Center with a heated swimming pool, hot tub/whirlpool, regulation handball and racquetball court, fully equipped exercise weight room, basketball half-court, game Indoor Heated Poolroom, dressing rooms, lockers and showers. Barbecues, picnic tables, horseshoe pit, bocce ball court, and two-play units for young children. The resort also provides the little things such as cards, board games and puzzles for your enjoyment. DVDs are available for a small rental fee.
Pinetop-Lakeside is a very friendly community. Many restaurants, golf courses, scenic attractions, and shops welcome Roundhouse Resort guests and provide special incentives for them. Be sure to check your “Ticket to Ride” for special offers from community merchants.
Resort Activities
Activities vary weekly and with the season.
The Roundhouse Resort has activities for all ages. There are many activity choices whether you like to sit on a swing and read a book, barbeque a luscious dinner, watch the children on a play structure, sit in the whirlpool, play cards, or stroll the grounds, you will find something that you will enjoy.
Atrium in the Lodge
The Atrium in the Lodge is the place to relax, play cards, enjoy puzzles, play board games, browse the exchange library, or just chat with new friends.
Recreation Center
The Roundhouse Resort has a Recreation Center that is open daily and includes an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub/whirlpool, racquetball court, basketball court, ping pong, weight room, and pool tables.
Summer Hours:
Friday and Saturday 7am-10pm
Sunday – Thursday 8am-9pm
Winter Hours: Everyday 9am-9pm
- DVDs are available for rent. There are DVD players in all rooms.
- Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) access is available in all units.
- The Roundhouse Resort has a large selection of cards, games, and jigsaw puzzles available upon request from the Front Desk. Books and other reading material are available in the Atrium.
The Area
North, South, East, West of the Roundhouse Resort – any direction you choose there are great places to visit and activities to experience. Summer, Winter, Spring or Fall – every season holds opportunities for adventures in the ever-changing White Mountains.
The Roundhouse Resort is surrounded by the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, 200 miles of wonderful trails for hiking or biking, crystal clear lakes for fishing or boating, museums, archeological sites, Arizona’s largest ski resort, Sunrise Ski Park, and much more.
